Scoring your first point at the professional level is a unique moment in a career. Noah Badibanga (2.01m, 18 years old) experienced this on Saturday, March 22, during Elan Chalon’s big victory over Le Portel. For the 18-year-old, it was his first point, scored from the free throw line.

The Garonne native signed a training contract last summer, allowing him to play five games this season. His first appearance in the elite league was in December during a victory against Saint-Quentin. This Saturday wasn’t Badibanga’s first career statistic, as he had already recorded an assist in a loss against JL Bourg. Meanwhile, he continues to play with the ELITE Hopes team this season. With the U21 team, he averages 13 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 2 assists in 21 games.
Four players from the Burgundy training center have been introduced this season by Elric Delord. First, Ladji Kante (1.93m, 20 years old) had the chance to play once with the professional team. Then Yanis Tonnellier (2.14m, 21 years old), who participated in four games. Next comes Saturday night’s hero, Noah Badibanga, with his 5 games, one point, and one assist this season. Finally, the youngest, Akram Naji (1.93m, 17 years old), who has participated in 12 professional games and scored 12 points on January 5th in the loss against Monaco.
