Two years ago, when Nadir Hifi (1.85m, 22 years old) hit a big shot, it was to help ESSM Le Portel stay in Betclic ELITE. Now, he’s hitting shots to qualify Paris Basketball for the EuroLeague playoffs, stunning the continent’s most decorated club, Real Madrid, in front of all European basketball fans.

A shot that will only increase Nadir Hifi’s value, especially with a release clause that could free him from his final year with Paris, where he signed a three-year deal in 2023. This Wednesday, Eurodevotion reported an imminent agreement with AS Monaco.

When contacted, the EuroLeague Rising Star’s agent, Olivier Mazet, denied any finalized deal with the Roca Team. However, he confirmed discussions with Monaco, who have long been interested in the Alsatian scorer’s profile.

« No fixed or final position »

However, AS Monaco isn’t alone in pursuit. Just this week, Olivier Mazet reports receiving three improved offers: one from Paris Basketball, who won’t let their star go easily, and two from well-respected EuroLeague teams.

« We haven’t taken any fixed or final position, nothing has been finalized with anyone, » Mazet assures, while adding that a decision should be made soon.

Nadir Hifi:
« I don’t think any other player has evolved so quickly »

From National 3 in 2019/20 to EuroLeague playoffs in 2025, Nadir Hifi has experienced meteoric growth in recent years. Expected to prove himself in his first EuroLeague season, he dispelled all doubts with a successful campaign, rewarded with impressive efficiency (nearly 15 points per game in less than 20 minutes) and the Rising Star award. Last Saturday, he commented on this achievement.

« I’m very happy with what’s happened to me these last four years. I don’t think there’s another player who has evolved so quickly. I’m well surrounded, I think I’m on the right path. I’ve proven myself with a good year in EuroLeague, I’ve been very effective and consistent. »
