Cholet will reduce its economic operations. Coach Laurent Vila, who has a good reputation particularly for empowering young players, will be leaving after choosing to depart due to an insufficiently attractive project. His successor, his former assistant Fabrice Lefrançois, will primarily focus on the youth academy even though Matéo Leray preferred to stay at La Rochelle. Additionally, Neal Sako has signed with ASVEL, while Tidjane Salaün is heading to the NBA. Regarding arrivals, notable signings include Bastien Vautier in the frontcourt, who made the Betclic ELITE All-Season Team after his impressive season with Le Portel, as well as Stefan Smith (Orleans) and young Mohamed Diawarra (Poitiers). Joining them are Chris-Ebou Ndow, Cleveland Melvin, Jamuni McNeace, Aaron Wheeler, plus young players Robin Pluvy and Mohamed Sankhé, who will train with the professional squad.

Dijon experienced a slight setback this season with a coaching change in December, multiple injuries, and ultimately a ninth-place finish. However, JDA won the French Cup after reaching the BCL Top 16, demonstrating their potential. After some hesitation, the Burgundy club extended coach Laurent Legname's contract and focused on stability by retaining part of the roster. Nevertheless, not participating in EuroCup or BCL could be a deterrent for some players, such as Gregor Hrovat. This didn't prevent the returns of Axel Julien and Ilias Kamardine, extending Joshua Obiesie and bringing in German international Chris Sengfelder. The team quickly filled up as Gavin Ware and Jean-Philippe Dally returned while Kyle Edwards signed to start his European career.

After maintaining the club in Betclic ELITE, Jean-Christophe Prat can now focus on building the roster he wants. A solid foundation of French-trained players is in place: Roman Domon, Vafessa Fofana, Valentin Chery and Thomas Cornely. The first one will be highlighted according to his coach. The task remains to surround them with five or six other players, likely mainly foreigners. Tajuan Agee has already extended his contract. Chris Babb followed suit. Additionally, shooter Hunter Cattoor has joined.

Le Mans had a slightly disappointing season and is starting a new cycle. Coach Elric Delord hands over to Guillaume Vizade, who comes from Vichy in Pro B. The latter should bring several JAV players in his wake, including Noah Penda who signed for 3 years, in addition to reuniting with Léopold Delaunay. Stability will remain important with Williams Narace, Wilfried Yeguete, Abdoulaye Ndoye, and Léopold Delaunay who has even extended until 2027. Additionally, the staff has been extended to support Guillaume Vizade. Otherwise, one recruit has already been announced: Pro B MVP Tray Buchanan. In terms of other arrivals, there's already the return of TaShawn Thomas. Also, shooting power forward David DiLeo.

Le Portel could have secured a guaranteed spot in BCL, but that won't happen with their eighth place finish. As a result, ESSM will have to settle for either a preliminary round or a FIBA Europe Cup ticket. This wasn't enough to retain their best players, with Bastien Vautier leading the departures. However, Digué Diawara stayed. Eric Girard (extended for one season), disappointed at the end of the regular season, worked on making new good moves. He quickly advanced his pieces by turning to Pro B as usual, signing local point guard Gaëtan Meyniel and young center Idrissa Ba. Young Americans have also signed, like C.J. Kelly, who was coming off his first professional season in Italian second division. Jack Nunge, Deandre Gholston, DeAndre Pinckney have also arrived along with shooter Kristers Zoriks and youngsters Izan Le Meut, Jess Esso Essis and Christopher Ebunangombe.

Mired in financial problems and without a sports director, Limoges CSP couldn't make progress on its future roster. Several players are under contract: Nicolas Lang, Alexandre Chassang and Ludovic Beyhurst. Lucas Ugolin has left for Blois in Pro B. Back as sports director, Crawford Palmer confirmed Jean-Marc Dupraz as head coach. With relegation avoided, they began building the new roster with a slightly reduced budget. They opted to sign young players. Vincent Amsellem and Mamadou Guisse signed three-year deals, Kenny Baptiste for two years. At power forward, American Malik Osborne is arriving. Shawn Tanner also signed for three years but has been loaned to Roanne.
Head Coach 2024/2025: Jean-Marc Dupraz
ASVEL will have to manage with a significantly tighter budget. The club reached agreements to keep Nando De Colo and Joffrey Lauvergne by extending for an additional season to spread out the remaining unpaid salaries from 2022-2023. The first announced recruit was Neal Sako, an already competitive but still developing center, who had two strong seasons with Cholet. Then, the club brought in Americans: combo-guard Shaquille Harrison, power forward Admiral Shofield and center Tarik Black. The signing of Melvin Ajinca should be announced after the Las Vegas Summer League.
Head Coach 2024/2025: Pierric Poupet
Monaco has managed to extend their star point guard for three years. Nick Calathes has arrived at point guard to support him. There are options to keep Donta Hall and Jordan Loyd. Jordan Blossomgame has also extended. The club approached Nikola Mirotic to finally have a shooting power forward. But ultimately, he couldn't get out of his Milan contract and former Le Mans player Vitto Brown signed instead. At center, Georgios Papagiannis will take Donta Hall's place. The Greek will reunite with his 1-5 axis with Calathes and will help Donatas Motiejunas and Mam' Jaiteh in interior battles.
Players with options: Jordan Loyd, John Brown III, Mouhammadou Jaiteh, Donta Hall, Donatas Motiejunas
Coach 2024/2025: Sasa Obradovic
Nancy is, along with Le Portel, the team that moved earliest in the transfer market. Already, Antony Labanca, Clément Frisch and Caleb Walker are under contract. Additionally, center Shevon Thompson extended for three years, followed by scoring guard Chris Clemons for one year. This maintains a solid foundation after a positive season (16 wins and 18 losses). To support Thompson in the paint, SLUC convinced Mathieu Boyer, Pro B's best center, and Zacharie Perrin. Enough to reach the playoffs? At point guard, Isaiah Washington and Matthieu Gauzin have signed. On the wing, young Iranian forward Mohammad Amini arrives.

Nanterre will experience its first season in the post-Pascal Donnadieu era. The iconic Paris region coach will still be there to help Philippe Da Silva, who is already accustomed to responsibilities, build a strong roster. The fifth place finish in the regular season should give Nanterre the advantage of competing in a European Cup. This offers an interesting sporting project for players... Starting by extending as many contracts as possible? Justin Bibbins has left but the club managed to sign former ASVEL player Frank Jackson. Scoring point guard Milan Barbitch returns to the club, where he won the U15 French Championship with Nanterre.
Coach 2024/2025: Philippe Da Silva
Paris started its new era in 2023 by bringing in many new players. The potential integration of the capital's club into EuroLeague should allow them to keep all the players they want to retain. However, others might leave, especially those who have little playing time under Tuomas Iisalo's roster, including the veteran Gauthier Denis and young Enzo Shahrvin who has been rarely used. Léopold Cavalière is the first recruit while changes are expected in the coaching position. Tiago Splitter replaces Tuomas Iisalo in a Paris-NBA switch. Former ASVEL center Kevarrius Hayes is also expected to join.
Like Nanterre, Saint-Quentin will offer the exposure and challenge of European Cup competition next season. After retaining Julien Mahé until 2026, SQBB hopes to keep a large portion of its core players. And among those core players, Nolan Traoré will be one. The young point guard from Pôle France had signed for the end of the season. Meanwhile, the club has successfully extended Lucas Boucaud and Loic Schwartz, and attracted Giovan Oniangue. Foreign players arrived quickly with the roster complete by early July. Here it is:
Head Coach 2024/2025: Julien Mahé
Strasbourg's season has been disappointing. Despite various arrivals, SIG finally missed its first playoffs since 2012. The coaching question was quickly settled: Massimo Cancellieri is replaced by Laurent Vila. Otherwise, several players are on multi-year contracts while Léopold Cavalière, a face of the Alsatian club since 2020, has left for Paris. With the influx of new funds, linked to Matt Pokora's investment notably, Strasbourg will undoubtedly have the means to afford a strong team, despite the absence of European competition. However, SIG failed to reach an agreement with Paul Lacombe to extend. Former Cholet player Dominic Artis reunites with his former coach Laurent Vila while Croatian Filip Kruslin will take the shooter position. In the interior, Vitalis Chikoko and Brice Dessert form a promising duo. It will be interesting to observe Jordan Skipper-Brown's progress.
