Roman Penn

Player Profile
The 6'0" point guard started his career at Bishop Noll High School in Indiana, where as a senior he posted impressive averages that made him a team standout. After a brief stop at Don Bosco Prep, he was picked up by Siena where he made the team before earning his spot in the starting lineup.
Among several offers, Penn chose to continue his college career with the Drake Bulldogs. A season record of no less than 26 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists earned him Third Team All and All-Newcomer Team honors. He won this title again after returning from a foot fracture in 2022, along with a Player of the Year nomination in recognition of his decisive role in the MVC tournament.
Roman is known for putting the team first before thinking of himself, as any good point guard should. He acts as a true "floor general" where his quickness, speed and drive to the basket are distinguishing features. His ability to provide perfect help, combined with his ability to be unexpectedly dangerous, makes him an ideal candidate for our team. His solid statistics have earned him the nickname "assist-king" for good reason.
