Élan Béarnais has been active in the market to compensate for the long absence of Kevin Marsillon-Noléo (2.00 m, 22 years). According to our information, the club will sign American forward Jordan Minor (2.03 m, 25 years), who played this season in the G-League.

Former G-League player to strengthen Pau’s frontcourt

Trained at Merrimack College, Jordan Minor went through NCAA. He was notably named co-Player of the Year in the Northeast Conference (NEC) during his last college season with the Warriors (averaging 17.4 points, 9.4 rebounds, 2.6 blocks), before finishing his collegiate career with the Virginia Cavaliers.

Undrafted in 2024, he joined the Long Island Nets where he shared the court with Killian Hayes. In 31 games, he averaged 5.8 points with 46.3% shooting accuracy and 3.4 rebounds in 12 minutes of play. A solid profile, capable of bringing physical impact and a strong defensive presence under the basket.

This is what Pau’s management was looking for, being without Kevin Marsillon-Noléo until the end of the season. The American reinforcement should be officially announced this Friday and could quickly be in the lineup if administrative formalities are completed in time.

Élan continues to adjust its roster

In the race for Pro B playoffs (fifth with 20 wins in 33 games), Élan Béarnais intends to finish the regular season strong. Quick integration of Jordan Minor will be crucial to maintain balance in the paint, as the team needs to string together performances to stay in contention.

The staff will rely on his athletic qualities and defensive versatility to strengthen the roster. It remains to be seen how the player will adapt to the French championship after his first professional experience in the G-League.
