Major blow for Blois: Maxime Sconard out for the rest of the season

Maxime Sconard (1.93m, 21 years old), ADA Blois’ French shooting guard, will not play the remainder of the 2024-2025 Pro B season. Injured in his right arm at the beginning of the week, the player had to undergo surgery and is forced to end his season.
Premature end of season for Maxime Sconard
While Blois leads Pro B with a record of 25 wins and 9 losses with four games remaining in the regular season, David Morabito’s team loses one of its promising young players. Injured in his right arm during a training session, Maxime Sconard underwent surgery that will keep him off the courts for several weeks, thus ending his season. Delivering solid performances with 8.0 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 33 games, the former BCM Gravelines player had become an important piece in Blois’ roster.
Suite à une blessure au bras droit, Maxime Sconard est écarté des terrains jusqu’à la fin de saison.
Nous t’apportons tout notre soutien @maximescoo et ne doutons pas que tu reviendras plus fort ! 💪

A roster already consolidated
The Blois staff has however anticipated this type of setback. The recent return of Talis Soulhac and Gaetan Meyniel’s contract extension in February allow Blois to maintain a stable roster of 11 professional players to tackle the final sprint towards a potential promotion to Betclic ELITE.
Despite Sconard’s absence, ADA maintains its ambitions intact. The Loir-et-Cher club aims for an immediate return after its relegation from the elite last year. A mission in which team unity will play a fundamental role, with or without its injured players.
