Player Profile
Jordan Tucker is an American small forward. He signed with Roanne in summer 2023 after a successful first European season in third-tier leagues, first in North Macedonia (16.4 points with Feniks 2010) then in Bulgaria (20.6 points at 42%, 5.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists), where he established himself as the second-best scorer in the NBL, under the guidance of a well-known coach, the venerable... Vasco Evtimov. The former French international was thus able to confirm all the good things he thought about his former protégé to Jean-Denys Choulet, who coached his brother Ilian in Chalon.
Subsequently, Tucker continued his good run this summer in Summer League with the Sixers (6.1 points in 15 minutes on average). Though trained at two highly renowned universities, Duke and Butler, the White Plains (New York) native had to take a roundabout path to launch his professional career. After leaving NCAA in 2020, he couldn't find a contract in his first year, before having to go through G-League tryouts, traditionally paid, to find a mini-spot with the Windy City Bulls (2 points at 21% in 4 games) in 2021-2022.
At Roanne, however, his season ended in failure. He left the club in April after a disagreement with his president. He left Chorale in 16th place facing likely relegation to Pro B, with statistics of 10.8 points at 40.9% shooting, 2.5 rebounds and 0.9 assists.
