The BNXT League is a professional basketball league in Belgium and the Netherlands. The league brings together the best teams from the Dutch and Belgian systems, replacing the DBL and PBL. The inaugural season was the 2021-2022 season, which began in September 2021.
The BNXT League holds national playoffs as well as cross-border playoffs to determine a Dutch champion, a Belgian champion and a BNXT champion.
BNXT Competition Format
- Regular Season (20 teams)
- Belgian teams play each other twice
- Dutch teams play each other twice
- Elite Gold (10 teams)
- Composed of the top 5 Belgian and Dutch teams
- Elite Silver (10 teams)
- Composed of 6 Belgian and 4 Dutch teams not qualified for Elite Gold
- National Playoffs (16 teams)
- Composed of all Elite Gold teams and the top 3 Elite Silver teams from each nation
- BNXT Playoffs (2 teams)
- Final between Belgian and Dutch winners
