Melvyn Ebonkoli is a French power forward. A hard-working player, the Trappes (78) native joined Le Mans' youth academy in 2016. Alongside Theo Maledon and Killian Hayes, he won the U16 European Championship in 2017 and finished runner-up at the U17 World Cup in 2018.
After moving to the United States in 2019 to join Putnam Science Academy, the French player then went to Missouri State where he played very little in 2020-2021 (5 brief appearances) before being redshirt in 2021-2022. He got back on track at Independence Community College in Junior College in 2022-2023, and this strong rebounder then returned to NCAA with UMKC.
