14th in Pro B in 2023/2024 with 14 wins and 20 losses, Aix-Maurienne will start over with Kenny Grant as their new coach, and likely a roster to rebuild. Jacori Payne joins already familiar with the championship while young Maxime Yomi comes from Spain.
Coach 2024/2025: Kenny Grant
9th in Pro B in 2023/2024 with 17 wins and 17 losses despite having the 2nd highest budget in Pro B, Antibes has lost their leader Mathieu Boyer who joins Nancy in Betclic ELITE, along with young Zacharie Perrin, and Jean-Marc Pansa (currently on loan to Boulazac in 2023/2024). Finally, newly retired Benjamin Monclar will join Antibes' coaching staff. Otherwise, Antoine Eïto, Abdoulaye Loum and Shekinah Munanga have signed, plus the return of wing player Milhan Charles.
Coach 2024/2025: J.D. Jackson
Blois is moving down to Pro B but retains several French players. While Brice Dessert, Milan Barbitch and Armel Traoré remain at the higher level, other young players are staying. Maxime Sconard (20 years old) and Pavel Bronner-Szulc (19 years old) could take on real roles within the professional team. At Blois, Siyani Chambers and Flo Thamba will bring an American touch to what has been a 100% French roster.
2024/2025 Roster
Head Coach 2024/2025: David Morabito
3rd in Pro B in 2023/2024 with 22 wins and 12 losses, Boulazac lost in the playoff finals against La Rochelle. While BBD keeps a solid core, Jean-Marc Pansa is leaving for JL Bourg. Two signings have already been announced: Ousman Krubally and Cyrille Eliezer-Vanerot.
Head Coach 2024/2025: Alexandre Menard
6th in Pro B in 2023/2024 with 19 wins and 15 losses, Champagne Basket was eliminated by Boulazac in the playoff quarterfinals. The club will make a fresh start with Vincent Dumestre as new head coach. He will be able to count on Bathiste Tchouaffé (1.97m, 25 years old) who signed a two-year contract in summer 2023. Additionally, several new recruits will support him: Javon Masters, Guillaume Grotzinger and Dominick Bridgewater at point guard, Charles Galliou on the wing, Hasan Varence, Marc Gosselin and Samuel Eyango-Dingo in the frontcourt.
Head Coach 2024/2025: Vincent Dumestre
15th in Pro B in 2023/2024 with 13 wins and 21 losses, Denain made Romain Parmentelot their first recruit. Marc-Olivier Lasserre and Jordan Ratton then joined.
Coach 2024/2025: Ali Bouziane
16th in Pro B in 2023/2024 with 12 wins and 22 losses despite having the 8th largest budget in Pro B, Fos Provence managed to secure survival during the final game day. For 2024/2025, Fos Provence should be able to count on Willan Marie-Anais, who was voted MVP of the Pro B Espoirs championship and was a key factor in keeping Fos up. Lucas Bourhis has signed and will join forces with scorer Robert Turner, power forwards Junior Etou and Mathieu Wojciechowski.
Coach 2024/2025: Rémi Giuitta
After leading his team to 8th place in Pro B in 2023/2024 with a balanced record of 17 wins and 17 losses, coach Nebojsa Bogavac has been extended for two seasons by Alliance Sport Alsace. Extended for 2 seasons in summer 2023, Yvann Mbaya is still under contract for the 2024/2025 season. He will reunite with Léopold Ca and meet Marcus Gomis, Allan Jeanne-Rose, Tidjan Keita as well as Adrien Pereira and Djordje Milosevic.
Coach 2024/2025: Nebojsa Bogavac
13th in Pro B in 2023/2024 with 14 wins and 20 losses despite having the 9th largest budget in Pro B, Nantes has already begun its reconstruction with the arrivals of Stephan Gauthier and young point guard Elian Benitez who had an outstanding season at Rueil (NM1's best passer). They were followed by Raijon Kelly (ex-Lille), shooter Louis Marnette, Pro B champion Ibrahima Haidara, rim protectors Kevin Samuel and Jean-Fabrice Dossou, and stretch big man Darel Poirier.
Coach 2024/2025: Laurent Pluvy
Finishing 4th in Pro B in 2023/2024 with 20 wins and 14 losses and especially elimination in the playoff quarter-finals against Rouen pushed management to change direction: coach Germain Castano will be replaced. Lamine Kebe will take over as head coach of Orleans Loiret Basket. He quickly moved forward with his future roster by signing all his players to form the following team:

For its return to Pro B, Pau-Lacq-Orthez finished 7th in the regular season with 18 wins and 16 losses, before being eliminated 2 wins to 0 by Vichy in the playoff quarterfinals... despite having the highest budget in the division (5 million euros). This led to coach Eric Bartecheky's departure. His replacement Mickael Hay retained Gaylor Curier and Dalil Hadi before bringing in Amadou Sidibe, Christopher Ledlum, Walter Whyte, Seydou Ndiaye, Sitrika Raharimanantoanina, Bastien Pinault and Kevin Marsillon-Noleo.
Coach 2024/2025: Mickael Hay
Ranked 10th in Pro B in 2023/2024 with 16 wins and 18 losses, Poitiers secured their position relatively early and has already well prepared for the 2024/2025 season. They've been the most active team in the transfer market. First, coach Andy Thornton-Jones has been extended for two seasons. Additionally, 6 players have already been re-signed including Jonathan Jeanne until 2026, and young prospect Ilane Fibleuil was recruited after a season at UCLA. Jahvon Blair and John Ojiako could change the team's dimension depending on their performance.
Coach 2024/2025: Andy Thornton-Jones
Coached by Thomas Andrieux for their return to Pro B, Chorale is keeping several players from last season's Betclic ELITE squad, announced president Emmanuel Brochot: "Maxime (Roos) will stay with Chorale, Theo (Pierre-Justin) will too, Antoine (Diot) as well. We haven't met with Alex (Bouzidi) yet." Narcisse Ngoy, who shows great potential, has been loaned to Rouen. Robin Pluvy has moved to Cholet. Otherwise, Donte Thomas, Shawn Tanner (on loan from Limoges), Michael Oguine, Dylan Affo Mama, Florian Leopold and Terrell Gomez have signed.
5th in Pro B in 2023/2024 with 20 wins and 14 losses, Rouen lost in the playoff semi-finals against La Rochelle. Highly sought after, Clarence Nadolny finally extended his contract. He stays along with Mohamed Choua. Otherwise, Sylvain Delorme will reunite with Youri Golitin and Arthur Bouba while also welcoming Marcus Hammond, Ofeh Malka, François Wibaut and Narcisse Ngoy.

2nd in Pro B in 2023/2024 with 25 wins and 9 losses, Vichy is currently in the playoff semifinals against Boulazac. The offseason should nevertheless be very active. Coach Guillaume Vizade and Noah Penda have already signed with Le Mans in Betclic ELITE. For the coaching position, Dounia Issa has officially signed a two-year contract with JA Vichy. The coach comes from a three-year experience at Pont-de-Cheruy in NM1. He brings along Brice Eyaga and Damien Nseke Ebele but recruitment is rather quiet at the moment for JAV.
